PHASE 2 - RECORDING
INITIAL TRACKING SESSION
Lay down foundational tracks - drums, bass (optional: keys, guitar, scratch vocals for time keeping), recorded to click track

OVER-DUBBING
Recording guitars, keys, other instruments (i.e. horns)
ADDITIONAL EDITING
to continue to tighten up the over-dubbed tracks

The more time you spend in pre-pro or rehearsing will maximize efficiency when in the actual studio recording session
